HC-05 bluetooth module and moates ostrich

i have an HC-05 bluetooth module and have been trying to get my ostrich to connect over bluetooth. i have tried 9600, 19200. 38400 baud rate. i leave all of the other settings default. i have had 0 luck with getting tunerpro to find the ostrich over bluetooth. anyone have any insight on getting this module working?

Ive also been looking into this. So far Ive found zero info.
This was my idea but Ive not tried it yet

i got it to work already, i cant remember exactly what i did but i hooked it up to the header just like the ones they used to sell. the trick was using a TTL 3V3 FTDI cable to change the baud rate of the bluetooth module.
