ECU file?

I want to emulate an eprom for my 1227747. I have found the ECU files on line, but when I try to save them as a .ecu file I don't have the option. I have my bin file and would like to edit it. Tunerpro won't show bin content without the ECU file being selected. I just don't know how to save a .ecu file.

I bought the adapter from Craig Moates to be able to use a 29C256 chip instead of a 2732A, this will work right?

right click on the ecu file to download it, click "save as". save it to disk. you should then be able to open it in tunerpro.
