I can successfully read a chip in a BMW E30 153 ECU.

To read chips from other E30 ECUs, like a 173...can I use the same 153 XDF, or will I require matching XDFs for each ECU part number BIN file within it?

You will need a matching XDF for DME# and in some cases the chip software#
