Will red label 623 software work for silver label ecu ?

Hi, i would like to know if my 95 325i with silver label ecu EWS 2 (originally 715 soft in it) will work with 623 soft (from red label ecu) if i cut N7 ews green wire?

Yes. Motronic pin 66 disconnected and 623 bin should work.

As long as a software was made for the same DME it should work (my 403 DME worked with either 950 and 541 softwares)
